About the Trainer
Carmel O’Toole is a journalist, author and award winning PR practitioner with over 30 years industry experience. She joined Oxford College of Marketing as a tutor on the CIPR courses, after 15 further years as a PR Course Leader and Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. She specialises in crisis communications management, public affairs and creative campaigning. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority, and an elected member of the PRCA National Council. Recently published collaborative global research with fellow PR academics, includes the views of young PR professionals on the world of work they want to be part of.
