About the trainer

Mel Powell is a Senior Lecturer in Public Relations at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, where students voted her Best Overall Teacher in 2011.  Mel is an experienced PR practitioner and academic, whose contribution to training new PR professionals was recognised last year when she became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
