The Oxford College of Marketing are delighted to continue their practical webinars into May. This month we are focusing on the role of content as part of a social media strategy and plan. The webinar will be held on Friday 20th May 2016 at 12.30pm (BST) and is free for anyone to attend.
Content is anything that can be expressed through words, pictures, video or sound. Content can be an asset, such as an infographic, or it can be thoughts and opinions expressed through social updates, like a Twitter chat. Whatever it’s form, content is now a key part of any paid or organic social media activity – but to be effective it must be part of a wider communications and content strategy. During this insightful webinar, digital marketing and ecommerce expert James Gurd will introduce some of the key concepts of content creation and planning, demonstrating how content can help develop a successful social media strategy. You’ll also learn how to effectively utilise paid and organic social media channels to maximise your content reach.
James Gurd owns Digital Juggler, an eCommerce and digital marketing consultancy. James has over 14 years’ experience in developing and implementing eCommerce strategies as well as digital transformation projects for a range of B2B and B2C organisations. He is also a regular contributor for Econsultancy’s Blog and an expert commentator for Smart Insights.
